When entering this café your first look will meet the wall on the other side the room, which is entirely studded with roses and carries the lettering “Kaiserwetter“. Next to it you’ll come across some velvet chairs in tender colours of rosé and purple as well as golden cuttlery on the tables. Kaiserwetter – the word stands for a sunny day with a bright blue sky. And so, this whole concept of the café seems to contribute to the fact, that you’ll always feel a little like in the middle of a fairy tale when visiting. In our heads, tiny fairies are having a dance of with pink unicorns, while we are enjoying a huge cappuccino and contemplating which of those delicious cake creations will fly into our mouths next, like milk and honey. #2 MISS GREEN BEAN
Behind this unusual name hides one of the most beautiful cafés in Potsdam’s city centre. Jungle wallpaper and modern prints meet muted colours and the cosiness of real wood. The café has two floors. On each you‘ll find many seating areas to chat with friends, work in peace or immerse yourself in an exciting book. Those who haven’t brought any reading with them, will even find a nice selection of reading material in the café.
A long dining table invites you to an extensive lunch with your favourite colleagues. The lunch offers range from delicious quinoa bowls to avocado sandwiches and layer salad. Everything is of course also available in veggi and vegan. Those who prefer to sit outside will find a padded windowsill and comfortable round-chairs in front of the café. „Be Nice or Go Away“. This is the slogan hanging framed behind the counter and immediately we took this little shop into our hearts. The café is so lovingly furnished that you can’t help but feel at home here. In winter, the cosy atmosphere ensures that even the grey, dirty weather is sometimes forgotten. In summer, thanks to the large bench in front of the café, passers-by can be watched while relaxing with your cold brew or iced coffee.
